About Challenge

Challenge is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children and families living with cancer, every day of the year.

When a child is diagnosed, life changes quickly—for the patient, parents, and siblings. Challenge aims to lighten that journey by helping with practical, social, and emotional needs. Support is free and immediate, tailored to what each family actually needs, whether that is help at home, time away together, or something else they may not have known to ask for.

It is work that matters deeply, and we are glad to play a small part in raising funds for it.

The Challenge Ball

For over three decades, the Challenge Ball has brought together friends, families, and supporters to celebrate life, connection, and resilience. This year’s theme, Little Heroes, honours the courage and spirit of children living with cancer, and the families beside them every step of the way.

The 2026 Challenge Ball is on Saturday 3 October, from 6:00pm at Pullman East Melbourne (192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne). Hosted by television personality and Challenge Chairman Tom Gleisner, the gala dinner is one of the most loved events in the Challenge community—an evening of dinner, live entertainment, and fundraising for Challenge’s programs.

Tickets are $200 per person (with $90 of each ticket tax-deductible) and include a three-course dinner, premium beverages, live entertainment, and the chance to win prizes through the night. The dress code is cocktail. Tickets and event details are on Humanitix.

What Will Hero is contributing

That means two complementary Wills for a couple—each person creates their own state-specific Will online, with guidance, review options, and the flexibility to update as life changes. For this item, edit access runs for 10 years, well beyond our usual 12-month period.

Partner Wills suit couples who want their estate plans to work together without identical “mirror” documents. If you are attending the Ball, keep an eye on the silent auction for this package.

Why estate planning fits this moment

Challenge supports families through one of life’s hardest experiences. Estate planning is a different kind of preparation—but it is also about protecting the people you love and reducing uncertainty for those left behind.
