Will Hero is proud to sponsor the Thursday Girls Annual High Tea — their major fundraising event of 2026 — on Sunday 11 October in Melbourne. We’re also donating to the event’s silent auction: a Partner Will package with 10 years of edit access.

About Thursday Girls
Thursday Girls is a registered Australian charity supporting Victorian women living with metastatic breast cancer — also known as advanced or stage 4 breast cancer — along with the people who care for them.
They do this through free, weekly, professionally-led therapeutic group counselling. These sessions reduce isolation, build genuine connection, and create a safe, supportive space for women to share the fears, experiences and challenges that are often too hard to talk about with friends and family. There are now three ways to take part: a weekly in-person group in Box Hill, a new fortnightly in-person group in Melbourne’s CBD — which makes it much easier for women who live too far from the eastern suburbs to attend in person — and a weekly group on Zoom, so women in regional and rural Victoria, or anyone too unwell to travel, can still join. Carers also have the option of support through a regular group counselling session.
In 2025, around 4,400 Victorian women were living with this incurable diagnosis. Thursday Girls exists so that none of them has to face it alone.
It’s a warm, inclusive community doing work that genuinely matters — and we’re honoured to help, in a small way, to raise funds for it. Thursday Girls is a registered charity with the ACNC and has deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, so donations are tax-deductible.
The Annual High Tea
The Thursday Girls Annual High Tea is the charity’s biggest fundraiser of the year — a wonderful afternoon of friendship, food and fun.

Your ticket includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, delicious high tea fare from some of Melbourne’s finest patisseries, a selection of savoury bites, entertainment from a special guest, access to the silent auction, a Thursday Girls goodie bag, and entry to the lucky door prize.

- Individual — $110
- Table of 10 — $1,100 (bring your besties, or a whole table)
- Donate a ticket — $100 (can’t attend? Gift a ticket to a Thursday Girl)
What Will Hero is contributing
As part of our sponsorship, Will Hero has donated a silent auction prize: a Partner Will package with 10 years of edit access.
That’s two complementary Wills for a couple — each person creates their own state-specific Will online, with guidance, review options and the flexibility to update as life changes. For this auction item, edit access runs for a full 10 years, well beyond our usual 12-month period. If you’re at the High Tea, keep an eye out for it among the silent auction items.
Why this matters to us
Thursday Girls supports women and families through one of life’s hardest experiences. Making a Will is a different kind of care — but at its heart it’s the same thing: looking after the people you love and taking away some uncertainty for the future.
